A little about us

King Mampuru II School is a private school in Jane Furse, Limpopo, serving learners from Grade R through Grade 8, under the leadership of School Principal Mr G. Mothapo. We’re proud of the close relationship between our teachers, parents, and learners — and of a curriculum that balances strong academics with the values and life skills every child needs to thrive. Our Vision

Our vision is to empower learners to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them, as life-long learners, to participate in and contribute to the global world, and to practise the core values of the school: Respect, Tolerance & Inclusion, and Excellence.

We envision a school where students are not only academically successful but also socially responsible and emotionally resilient. By fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, we aim to inspire young minds to think independently and act with courage and conviction. Our school is committed to continuous improvement, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of educational excellence by embracing innovation and best practices in teaching and learning.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enable all learners access to learning through the provision of:

  • Differentiated, in-depth and cohesive learning programmes aligned to year-level content and achievement standards, informed by the South African curriculum.
  • Highly effective, focused teaching that improves student outcomes, through a commitment to ongoing professional development, quality teaching, evidence-based practices, coaching, mentoring and collaboration.
  • A quality, inclusive learning environment that is responsive to student voice, with enriching, engaging resources.
  • Opportunities for the community and parents to participate in learning and decision-making, as partners.
